When submitting a video please ensure that you have enclosed:

- A copy of the Paypal receipt for the £50.00 Submission fee (Paypal to liana@mushroomtv.co.uk OR as cheque/postal order made payable to Mushroom TV LTD.)

- A copy of the video (as below)

- Lyrics in Word format

- A completed submission form (All parts to be complete in full).

- A vocal/instrumental mix of the track on CD.

- A biography of the artist on CD or in electronic format sent by email, which should include: History of the artist/group. How it all began, influences etc. Discography i.e. a list of all tracks, when they were released and by whom. Filmography i.e. a list of any films the artist/group has featured in, including dates.

Please also check:

-The picture and sound quality is of broadcast standard.

-100% colour bars

-Audio should peak at -6db and NO HIGHER

-Audio and pictures are in sync

-AVOID the use of flashing images and regular patterns. (Flashing lights and certain types of regular visual patterns can cause problems for some viewers who have photosensitive epilepsy). Harding Test Certificates may be requested in specific cases.

-Please do NOT include any title on the actual video (e.g. artist name & track title these details will be added by Channel AKA).

If the instructions are not adhered to your video will not be accepted for playlist. Please note submissions can take up to 3 weeks to process from when a completed submission is received.

Music Video Guidelines
- We do not guarantee that every video submitted to AKA will be broadcast
- Videos will NOT be considered for TV if they are submitted in DVD or VHS format.
- All videos MUST be submitted on DV CAM or MINI DV as PAL format.

Video Content
- A clean version of the video is required. ALL swear words, offensive/violent language and racist comments MUST BE REMOVED before submission. You warrant that the video will not contain any obscene or defamatory material.
- Drug and solvent abuse should NOT be glamorized in the video. This includes alcohol, marijuana and other ‘minor’ drink and drugs. STEER CLEAR of these subjects as they will slow down the process and will most likely result in the REJECTION of your video.

Copyright Clearances
- You agree that all consents, clearances and other authorizations have been obtained from all performers in the video, including parental consent if any performer is under the age of 16 years.
- You fully agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified against all loss liability cost and/or expense suffered by us arising out of any claims demands actions or proceedings commenced against us by reason of your breach of these guidelines.

Product Placement
- Product placement or branding – i.e. the inclusion of, or reference to a product or service is NOT permitted within videos. (This includes websites, logos, on screen graphics and graphics before the video begins e.g. ‘MC Rap presents’ etc. Please be aware that this is NOT negotiable.)

Creativity - Tips
- A big budget video is NOT essential, however please consider the concept and content of the video before submission.
- Original videos are more likely to be playlisted.
- We receive over 100 videos a month, so please do something to separate U from the rest.
- We will not be responsible for any loss or damage to any video sent to us and you are advised to keep a copy of your video.

Under 16’s Free Submission
- Videos for artists under 16 years old are free and do not require the submission fee however guardian consent must be provided and proof of age must also be provided before the video can be considered in this category.
