In another boost to Glasgow's always booming music scene, the city's SECC hosts the MOBO Awards' first foray outside London, confirming Scotland's reputation of having one of the most vibrant urban music scenes in the UK. Highlights of the show include appearances by Chipmunk, JLS, Diversity, N-Dubz, Flawless, Tinchy Stryder and Jermaine Jackson. After the songs and gongs, it's all back to urban music club Karbon for the aftershow where nominees, and quite possibly winners, Semtex (Best DJ) and Master Shortee (Best UK Newcomer) work the mics and turntables alongside resident DJs Iron Ill and Status
