Ludacris has revealed that he believes himself to be the "best rapper" alive.
The hip-hop star has insisted that he could compete with any rapper because he understands rap's aggressive nature.
Ludacris told the Chicago Tribune: "Rap is real competitive just the same way boxing is.
"We always talk about taking other rappers out. That being said, I feel like I'm the best rapper. I wanted to get the best boxer in the game for my last album. That's why it's called Undisputed."
The 31-year-old, who has appeared in the Oscar-winning films Crash and Hustle And Flow, has also said that he's positive that he will retire from the rap game before his 50th birthday comes around.
He said: "It's always cool to play something totally unexpected and out of the norm. Those are the type of roles I go for. Anything that stretches the limitations... I'm sure I won't be rapping when I'm 50 years old."
