Hip-Hop pioneer LL Cool J has been short-listed to appear in the iconic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year.
The ceremony for the rapper and 11 other possible inductees will take place on 15 March in New York at the museum in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum is dedicated to recording the history of some of the best-known and most influential artists, producers, and other people who have in some major way influenced the music industry, particularly in the area of rock and roll.
Although not widely known as a rock and roll artist, LL Cool J, real name James Todd Smith, is considered rock and roll royalty for the work he has done with numerous artist associated with that genre.
This will undoubtedly be another career highlight for the 41-year-old who has been in the music industry for 25 years and has knocked up an impressive 13 albums alongside acting and fashion credits
