LETHAL B GOES TO PLYMOUTH
Detail:
BEST KNOWN as the leading pioneer of UK grime/hip-hop, the MOBO award winning Lethal Bizzle (aka Maxwell Ansah) is coming to Plymouth University for a live show in the main hall on November 14.

Bizzle will be brandishing tracks from his new album Go Hard, which hit the shops earlier this month, as well as tracks spanning his five-year career, including top 40 hits like Fire, What We Do, Bizzle Bizzle and Police On My Back.

And he's unlikely to miss out Pow (Forward), his biggest hit to date, which charted just outside the UK Top Ten in 2005, despite being banned from mainstream radio.

He began his career as part of the More Fire Crew and in 2002, their track Oi! reached the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart.

He released his debut album, Against All Oddz, in 2005 and went on to be a part of the NME Rock N Roll Riot Tour in 2007, along with The Wombats, and headliners The Enemy.

He was even voted number five in the NME Cool list 2007/2008, beating Amy Winehouse, Pete Doherty, and Alex Turner.

His second album, Back To Bizznizz, was released in 2007.

More recently, he has featured on an album by Newcastle five-piece band yourcodenameis:milo and recorded a song titled I Got a .45, which samples Don't Mug Yourself by The Streets.

His autumn shows follow a hugely successful string of dates at UK summer festivals that included Reading, Leeds and Download.

This is a one off opportunity to catch the king of British hip-hop live on stage not to be missed.
