YOUNG people brought their personalities to a live audience at the Thameside Theatre, Grays, recently.
The Livewire night on Thursday August 13, drew hundreds of young Thurrock people to the venue to showcase their talent.
Rap, Mcing, hip hop, poetry, dance and comedy filled the theatre.
Performances from the Shooting Stars, Jennifer Williams and Hannah Bashie, Livewire Connective, Street Life, Jay Cass Oversho, Young Naytez, Fader from Stanford ,WCSP and poetry on gun and knife crime by Derrick Mabiala were just some of the attractions.
A Michael Jackson tribute was performed by Jordy Mbungu aka Jewlz and Ghetts, a well known and soon to be a major UK Hip Hop star was one of the special guests.
U.A. made up of Jewlz, Koze, King, Drown and Scarface, Cruz Starhh, Jay Cass Oversho and Kreedless, Arthur Walwin, Swagger Squad - Swagg Kid, Razzar & Maroe and Scarface, Drown and Mischief MC were the other acts that thrilled the excited audience.
The event was organised by the Thurrock Youth and Connexions Service which was created by and for a group of young people who took part in a 12-week Pathways to Employment (P2E) music project that gives them a chance to put together a show.
