Beyonce has postponed a concert in Malaysia following threats by conservative Muslim groups to protest.
The singer was set to perform this weekend at a stadium on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur but the gig has now been pushed back.
Concert organisers Marctensia denied that the move had anything to do with calls by the conservative Pan-Malaysian Islamic party (PAS) for the event to be banned.
The postponement is solely the decision of the artiste and has nothing to do with other external reasons," the event organiser Marctensia said in a statement.
It said a new date for the concert will be announced "shortly" and more details will be released this week.
The R&B star was forced to cancel her debut concert in Malaysia amid fears of protests by conservative Muslim groups.
"We are not against entertainment, but it's the way she performs - her gyrating moves on stage and her sexy outfits. It will erode the moral values of our young people," PAS youth chief Nasruddin Hassan Tantawi told AFP.
The gig is part of Beyonce's "I am..." world tour.
PAS's youth wing also tried to prevent Avril Lavigne from performing in Malaysia last year.
Earlier this month, Malaysia banned Muslims from attending a concert by US hip-hop band The Black Eyed Peas.
The decision was later reversed.
