R&B star (and Lady GaGa’s label boss) Akon has reportedly filed a lawsuit against some former associates of his claiming they allegedly stole his trademark for a fragrance line. Details about the lawsuit were revealed online over the weekend.
Akon claimed that some former business partners stole his name and put it on the bootleg perfume, which he is now suing them for. He also had talks with the fragrance developers, but was shocked when they formed Konvict Cosmetics International and started selling the scent Konvict without his consent, the suit says.
