Young flames is the CEO of I.D.B (International Dope Boy) entertainment. The international in this title is because Young Flames has lived between New York, London & Grenada all his life so has always been considered as internationally known. Dope Boy has duel meaning in the case of I.D.B as a company and the personal past of Flames. Dope being the same slang term as cool, fly, ill etc. leading to the birth of the name International Dope Boy.
All About the paper is the first of two singles to be released from Flames first solo mixtape Inferno. It is a hard flowing(vocally) but at the same time relaxed track with a dark, deep and based backing track, produced by up and coming London born producer Carl of Carlmb Productions.
The second single coming from Flames will be Um Fly to be released in January. Um Fly is definitely a explosive club banger with a bass drum that could blow the doors off your car. Flames adapted a southern like flow and delivery on Um Fly, this track absolutely lets listeners know that IDB and Young Flames are serious about selling records and making exciting, real and relevant music he co-produced the track alongside Carl, the energy on this track is amazing. Um Fly is set to be one of the biggest underground releases for 2008.
Young Flames not only freestyles but is a hard hitting artist and extremely talented in the Flow, word play, storytelling and general subject matter’s department but what sets Flames apart from his competition is his unmistakable delivery on the mic, It is what lets you know that this guy knows

With a swagger to match his layed back yet menacing, Boss like persona, Flames has the confidence and presence of a veteran but the freshness of a artist born in the year 2008 and has no problem stating his position in the street and rap game in his music.
Young Flames has worked with many producers and made appearances and performances both In the UK and USA in 2004-2006.
In 2007 Flames is doing big things and in 2008 I have no doubt that they will be even bigger. He is coming hard and fast and stopping for no one.
HISTORY
INFLUENCES: Well my major influences range from old school rap & hip hop giants
like: B.I.G, PUN, WUTANG, ICE CUBE, SNOOP, EASY E, and DRE, to the present giants like: Jay-Z, YOUNG JEEZY, UGK (R.I.P PIMP C), LIL WAYNE and even producers like SWIZZY(SWIZZ BEATS) AND TIMBALAND. They have all had some kind of influence in my input as a recording artist and producer and company C.E.O.
I officially started rhyming when I was around 13, 14 and obviously since then I have grown and expanded my skills in Performance and delivery and wordplay since then.
I have been involved in many aspects of the music industry, from starting my own record label at the age of 18, to performing overseas at private and public shows to producing music and putting together two mix tapes and collaborating with various hip-hop artists and producers.
