West London born and bred Triggs Vega has been honing his skills, since being an MC to Jungle music in 1996. Transcending through the dance street music, and garage scene in the late 90's, Triggs felt confident enough to become a rap artist, rather than just a radio MC. Triggs released 'The Truth Are The Words' LP in 2002, which touched those who heard it, and was stocked in shops from London to Glasgow. Despite early label interest Triggs seen the whole experience as a learning one. The same ethic has been put into the last few years performing at various nightspots including Ten Rooms, NYT, Sound Republic, Stratford Circus, Fight Club, Deal Real Record Shop, YO-YO'S Notting Hill and headlining the 'Hypemusic.net' launch party at Suga Suga. Radio stations ranging from BBC Radio 1, BBC 1xtra, Choice Fm, Kiss FM and London pirate stations Freeze Fm, Juice Fm, Itch Fm and Deja-Vu have all supported and aired various singles over the last year. The street love has been generated through mixtapes and hip hop compilations from the likes of DJ Amnesty, Mykal Million, DJ Limelight, DJ Ames and the Gov'nors, and DVD's such as Bound 2 Blow, Streetz Incarcerated, Streets Iz Raw and The Scope Magazine.Triggs also works closely with movements such as G-Hop, UK Street Sounds, Urban Konnex and UK Record Shop.com. Triggs Vega's influences range from wide genres of music and artists including Annie Lennox, Bob Marley, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, Stevie Hyper D, Shabba d, Skibadee, Nas, Saigon, Az, Ali Vegas and Swiss are examples of his musical influences. T.V's consciousness, integrity and lyrical ability has enabled him to record alongside some of Londons Finest such as Terra Firma, S.A.S, Mike GLC, Y.B.M, P.D.C ,Armslength, Skriller Kids, N.A.S.T.Y Jack,Unorthodox, Logic, Lowkey, Rising Son, Genisis Elijah and top notch production from the likes of Los Sol, Full Range, Beeswax, Vandal, Def 1, Merlin and TE1. Triggs Vega's Unique, Witty and Political rhymes along with ambition, Versatility and Creativity is set to keep heads nodding for the foreseeable future, and 2006 promises to be a big year for Triggs with the release of his first video 'Move Back', followed by the 'Quarter-Biography Mixtape' and the 'Street Narrator EP'. 2007 Will see Quarter Biography Vol 1.2'In Between The Lines', a collaboration with DJ Limelight hit the street, stores and internet very soon.
