NMG No More Games

NMG is a new generation group of talented young people aged between 15 & 21. The name NMG means ‘no more games’ which is what the group’s vision is. They feel that the streets are full of games and these games are leading the younger kids astray. ‘Weatherz’ (the founder of the group) who was a former gang member says that ‘what influenced me the most while out with the boys committing all sort of crime was mostly music, the type of music I listened to would sort of push me to do certain things I wouldn’t normally do’. He feels that the type of music one listens to influences the sort of life one lives. At this point he realised that music had a certain power behind it, it can either build or destroy. He therefore gathered a bunch of young talented people to make ‘NMG’ and try to change the violent nature of the music culture.
